Greenwood Shakespeare in the Park

We are pleased to announce that the Greenwood, Indiana Parks and Recreation Board approved the first annual Greenwood Shakespeare in the Park and has committed $10,000 in matching funds to the project!  These shows will be performed at Surina Square Park in Downtown Greenwood at the beautiful Amphitheater and will be free of charge and open to the public.

This is the perfect opportunity for Shakespeare enthusiasts and theatre rookies alike to experience high-quality, professional, live theatrical performances of three classic works in a relaxed environment, suitable for the entire family.  The plays are cut to run only about an hour in length and they will be enjoyable and easy to understand.  Seating is FREE and on a first-come, first-served basis on the lawn in front of the Amphitheater.  Bring a picnic blanket and a picnic and come enjoy this exciting cultural event with your friends and family!

Performances will be at the City of Greenwood Amphitheater located in Surina Square Park.  Seating is first-come, first-served basis.
